Made in Corea 25 Years – Return to Forever

When Made in Corea celebrates its 25th anniversary at Herr Nilsen, they open with an evening dedicated to the most electric and explosive part of Chick Corea's musical universe. "Return to Forever" takes the audience back to the golden age of fusion, where jazz, rock and latin merge in an intense interplay full of energy, groove and virtuosity. Joining them on stage are two of Norway's most prominent musicians, Ståle Storløkken (Supersilent, Elephant9) and Martin Myhre Olsen (Wako, Oslo Jazz Ensemble). Together they interpret the music that made Return to Forever one of history's most influential jazz bands, with classics marked by technical brilliance, strong melodies and boundless improvisation. Over 25 years, Made in Corea has established itself as Norway's foremost Chick Corea tribute band, and this concert marks the start of an anniversary series celebrating one of jazz's greatest composers and pianists.
