The performance Memories in Fallout is a dark comedy about the merciless impact of nuclear weapons on civilian life. The elderly couple Hilde and Jan live a peaceful life in the countryside. One day, they are informed of an incoming nuclear attack on their hometown. Both have personally experienced World War II and believe they know a thing or two about war. The couple follows official emergency guidelines as best they can, but they misunderstand every instruction and end up making the situation far worse. Through denial, unyielding optimism, and deep-rooted togetherness, they struggle to cope with the consequences of the atomic bomb. This performance addresses the topic of nuclear weapons and civil preparedness with humor and absurd tragedy. It is suitable for teenagers, adults, and seniors. The performance is presented in collaboration with No to Nuclear Weapons, and is supported by Fritt Ord and the Fund for Performing Artists. Good to know: * Venue: Gymsalen * Age limit: None
