The Brief

It’s the night before Little Christmas Eve. Pia comes home after traveling for six months, expecting to pick up where she left off. Her goal is to find Kristoffer, her boyfriend who was supposed to join her on the trip but bailed at the last minute. It turns out to be more complicated than she anticipated Kristoffer seems to have vanished without a trace. In her search for Kristoffer, Pia encounters several more or less dissatisfied people: Vegar, Pia’s old best friend, sleepless and frustrated over an imagined physical flaw; rap artist Gary, disappointed by the lack of problems to rap about; British oil worker Wayne, whose disillusioned view of love brought him to Norway; rock guitarist Stian, now working at a nursery after losing his record deal; and a principled taxi driver.
