Fifteen-year-old Gabo longs to talk to someone about his pedophilic tendencies and meets the much older Dave online. Dave is supportive, kind, and understanding of what Gabo is struggling with – but under the guise of friendship, Dave is a groomer who wants to live out his own sexual fantasies with a young boy. When Dave is arrested, suspected of raping a minor, Gabo suddenly finds himself in a position where he may have to testify against him – and risk exposing his own secret. A powerful debut film about a taboo yet important subject, told with sensitivity and vulnerability, supported by a fantastic cast. Ultimately, this is a film about how not to become an abuser.
