Description
Get ready for an evening filled with blues, rock'n'roll and country when the Sabrina Sciacca Trio takes over Herr Nilsen on Tuesday 3 November.
Sabrina Sciacca is an Italian singer and double bassist with a strong love for the music of the 1940s and 50s. Together with the trio, she draws inspiration from a time when blues, early rock'n'roll and country met, with driving rhythms, raw energy and great joy of playing.
Sciacca has already shared the stage and opened for a number of profiles in the blues and roots scene, including Claudia Scott, Mike Andersen, Håkon Høye, Haylen, Bonnie and the Jets, Joakim Tinderholt, Billy T and Amund Maarud.
With the double bass up front and a distinctive vocal, the Sabrina Sciacca Trio offers a lively and energetic concert that takes the audience back to the roots of blues and rock'n'roll.
Expect an evening of swinging blues, classic rock'n'roll, country and genuine vintage atmosphere at one of Oslo's most intimate music venues.
Welcome to an evening of music from a time when rock'n'roll was still dangerous, the blues came straight from the heart and the double bass kept the dance floor going.
