Dave Lee (formerly Joey Negro) has released hundreds of singles under renowned aliases like Joey Negro and scored three UK Top 40 hits. He is considered one of the UK’s most respected producers in disco and house, an artist who has helped shape and define both genres with his signature sound. His breakthrough came in 1990 with “Do It, Believe It” on New York label Nu Groove, followed by “Do What You Feel” on his own Z Records — a track that reached the UK Top 40 and led to a record deal with Virgin Records.
