SING! Pop-up Choir

Once again we're creating a pop-up choir at Kulturkirken Jakob! This time we're joined by one of Europe's leading choir instructors and inspirers, Anders Edenroth from the legendary vocal group The Real Group. A secret artist will also appear as a soloist during the evening. Join us and sing together with several hundred voices in the city's most unique church and cultural venue! Come with the voice you have. Together we'll create a "sudden choir" and rehearse some songs in simple arrangements. We end the evening with a little mini-concert, featuring Anders Edenroth, the secret guest artist, and not least soloists and choir together. An evening of relaxed shoulders, joy of singing and good spirits. Together we'll lift the 18-metre-high ceiling of Jakob a few good metres higher! Singing is hope! In turbulent times music and song can bring us together. Letting your voice loose with others creates a unique community. The evening is led by the experienced choir leaders Mari Tesdal Hinze and Hans Olav Baden, and this time Anders Edenroth joins too! The doors open one hour before. We continue for up to three hours, with several breaks along the way. The bar is open, which is why there is an 18-year age limit for the event. SING! is a collaboration between Oslo Cathedral and Kirkelig Kulturverksted/Kulturkirken Jakob.
