The Brief

An intense thriller about a seven-headed tobacco monster. The Insider follows Jeffrey Wigand, a research executive at tobacco giant Brown & Williamson who is fired after questioning company decisions and forced to sign a strict confidentiality agreement. Around the same time, he is contacted by Lowell Bergman, a producer for 60 Minutes, who has received documents he can’t decipher. When Wigand agrees to explain them, intimidation and pressure soon follow - revealing just how far the tobacco industry is willing to go to silence its critics.
