Tush? Yes, it means 'butt' in English – but first and foremost, it's the name of one of the most legendary riffs signed by Billy Gibbons in ZZ Top. The power trio from Texas mixed blues, boogie and rock'n'roll in a way that left deep marks, also in Hallingdal where young guitarists in the 80s plowed through the albums trying to copy Billy G's fat guitar sound. The band's bassist Dusty Hill passed away in 2021, and that became the spark that ignited the idea for a pure tribute band. The result is Tush – a group of hand-picked veterans who have played in countless constellations over the years, and who have now joined forces to honor one of the world's most iconic rock bands.
