Description
Ni hao, so cover set and stare! Under the Lens is back, and now the autumn season kicks off in full force. We're going to take on the world's most exciting country right now: China.
This enormous, populous country in the east has given us many things. Today we perhaps think mostly of the clothes, cars and gadgets that are 'made in china', but also the food we eat and the thoughts we think have strong Chinese influence. Still, there's talk that China is the West's greatest threat. Is that true? And if so, why? What's the deal with Taiwan? Isn't it just good that they help build infrastructure in Africa? What if we are the villains? Hm! We'll try to pick apart this colossus of a country, look at some history, look at some current events, and would you believe that our very own China correspondent - David Kjernlie - has just returned from a two-week stay? Let's put it under the lens!
