BYSOMMER Few artists have captured the spirit of Oslo as accurately as Lillebjørn Nilsen. Through a long and celebrated career, his poetry and songs offered a unique glimpse into the soul of the city. For many years, Lillebjørn and his longtime collaborator Helge Westbye hosted Bysommer (“City Summer”), a concert series during Norway’s summer holiday season. Today, we continue that legacy with the Bysommer concert series, featuring artists who, like Lillebjørn, share a deep love for Oslo and bring positive energy to the city’s laid-back summer atmosphere.
